Emerging Technology

Agency of Record with Qualcomm

As Agency of Record with Qualcomm labs, we worked with the engineering teams to bring AR, beacons, peer-to-peer, image, and sound recognition technology to market. Together, we broke ground in new consumer experiences in mobile.

Qualcomm was developing next-gen tech and turned to Signature to innovate in the space and envision consumer applications for their technology. We developed product build for VUforia, AllJoyn, and Gimbal.

– Projects included:
– Star Trek – Into Darkness
– Star Wars – Course For The Force
– Quick Draw
– Mattel Rockem Sockem
– Spud Ball
– Dallas Mavericks AR Hoops

The Projects

Dallas Mavericks Championship

We created the first Pocket AR Hoops game for audiences.

For the launch of Qualcomm’s AR platform, we partnered with the Dallas Mavericks for a stadium activation. AR allowed fans to become players with their tickets; every ticket became a game activation enabling people to play in the stadium and get featured on the jumbotron.

Rockem Sockem

In partnership with Mattel: The ROCKEM SOCKEM GAME that Launched Augmented Reality into the world.

Quick Draw

A peer-to-peer doodle maker: share live and draw together with friends and people nearby.

Quick Draw is a collaborative drawing game in which multiple users contribute to drawing an image one piece at a time. Using Qualcomm’s AllJoyn technology, connect with up to three friends on your network to create your own work of art.

A peer-to-peer collaborative workboard: share live, teach, inspire, educate, and entertain via proximity.

Chalkboard was developed as a real-time collaboration tool to write or draw with others in proximity simultaneously. Simply connect to other Chalkboard users sharing the AllJoyn network, and start a session. Each active participant can not contribute to note-taking, brainstorming, or illustrating, all in real-time.

Peer-to-peer gaming for events or location-based experiences; play with people nearby and pass along the potato.

Spudball utilizes Qualcomm’s AllJoyn platform to create a peer-to-peer gaming connection with devices on the same network.

AllJoyn is a peer-to-peer technology that enables ad hoc, proximity-based, device-to-device communication without the use of an intermediary server. AllJoyn makes it possible to experience realtime mobile gaming without the use of a
